As part of the regeneration of Dalston Square, Lambert Smith Hampton instructed ALSO Agency to create an identity for the area so they could fill retail units with the right tenants to complement the area. We provided a brochure, website and advertising campaign to support this bold identity that attempts to claim the colour orange as Dalston’s own.
Vibrant orange coupled with the simple, large, bold typography form the backbone of this design system.
The delicate strokes of the brand mark oppose the weighty headline type which, in this design system, is always anchored to the diagonally opposite corner of the canvas. This create a beautiful tension that allows exciting lifestyle brand imagery to command the viewer’s attention.
